Staff Requirements

All staff meet the requirements of the PA Department of Public Welfare as it relates to their individual positions. Each of our staff has experience working with children. All staff are required to participate annually in a minimum of twelve (12) classroom hours of training in addition to basic First Aid Training, Pediatric and Infant CPR, Fire Safety, Childhood Illness and Observation/Recording Techniques. All staff are required to have a Child Abuse History Clearance, Criminal History Clearance, FBI clearance and an bi-annual physical. Learn-N-Play Daycare highly encourages continuing education and participates in the TEACH program. All staff are familiar with state regulations, health bureau regulations, Keystone Stars, PA Early Learning Standards and center policies and procedures.
